Norton Pirory and Halton Hall

Adding a new catogory to my places to see...Don't bother!

Norton Pirory and Halton Hall /Park

They were not bad locations, but so bland that I can't recommend these places at all.

Even my first shots of dragonflys were overshadowed by the blandness.

Heron attacks...

It was bound to happen when I least expected. The window was mucky, I was trying to get a shot without disturbing it, focus got stuck between the muck on the window and heron, had zoomed in too much, then I panic having seeing that he had actually caught a frog!

At which point he flew off with his meal...

What makes us human?

What makes us human?

A rather interesting programme on channel 4, apart from the egotistical presenter who you spend half the time looking at in heavily repeated loops and the other half of him dropping references to America; California, California, California…

Fringing on principles, which I’ve theorised on myself.

Cinema is Dead

I got dragged to the cinema again... movie makers have cottoned on that if you stick Johnny Depp and Orland Bloom in a movie together, shove in special effects and some crap plot line, then people will go an see it.

I had the choice between Cars, My super ex-girlfriend and the aforementioned, to be brutally honest given that the next blockbuster is "Snakes In a Plane" I will be giving cinema a miss for the next half century.
